Project Summary
Corinne will mobilize low-income individuals and families to take part in the
growing climate movement by creating a gleaning network, accessing
fresh food from local farms while reducing consumption of unhealthy,
carbon-intensive foods. The project will build on the success of a local
gleaning effort that resulted in 160,000 pounds of fresh produce being
distributed to hungry families in one locality in Vermont, with the goal of
networking with the state’s foodbank system.
